Andrea Agosto grew up as an Army brat so she moved around quite a bit, and is thrilled to be here at HTMM. The places she was in the longest were Kansas City, KS and Mayagüez, PR. It was in high school in Kansas City, when she discovered drama and her love for performing. Years later, she graduated college with her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Film & Media from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. After working in advertising, she shifted focus and began working as a paraeducator for English learners. This inspired her to get her Master’s degree from the University of New Mexico where she studied Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies. Upon moving to San Diego, she attended SDSU to earn her bilingual credential. When not in class, she is working on plays (rehearsing, performing and writing), drawing, and dancing poorly.
