Armando was born in El Paso, TX and raised in the small farming towns of San Isidro, Chihuahua (MEX), and San Elizario, TX. He earned his BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas-El Paso and was an enlisted member of the Army for 9 years. Armando sees his role with a passion and responsibility that transcends any job title. In just his first years of living in San Diego, he has made an effort to integrate himself with the community by joining Project YANO, a grassroots and non-profit organization committed to providing students with educational and social justice alternatives to military service. He has also attended many community events throughout the neighborhoods in which his students live. Mr. Pxc3xa9rez is humble, reflective, and open to learning from different mentors and experiences. In his free time, Armando loves to spend time with his family and his two German Shepherd pups Bob and Mamba. On the weekends you might find Armando in your neighborhood in search of the best food around town or volunteering with a local organization.
