As a culturally responsive teacher, Bailey understands the importance of students’ backgrounds being celebrated in and out of the classroom. Bailey aims to incorporate her student’s cultures and traditions in daily work and projects. Bailey believes that social-emotional learning should take place in the classroom every day. She believes that educating the heart is just important as educating the mind. Empathy is a driving force in Bailey’s classroom and it is important that she builds a community full of love from the first day of school. Bailey believes that students come to school already full of knowledge and ready to ask, explore, and answer questions they have about the world around them. When she is not at school, Bailey enjoys snowboarding, going to the beach, spending time with family, cheering on the Denver Broncos, CSU Rams, and Padres, running, and playing with her puppies.
