Clairelise has worked in education her entire career. Before joining High Tech High, she was the Partner of Marketing and Brand Communications at TNTP, a national nonprofit focused on expanding student access to critical educational opportunities.
At TNTP, she oversaw the organization’s branding and marketing strategy, crafted teacher recruitment campaigns for school systems around the country—including a subway ad campaign for the New York City Department of Education—and led the design and development of signature TNTP publications like The Opportunity Myth.
Before TNTP, she served as a founding team member at 50CAN, an education advocacy network, and as a Woodbridge Fellow for Yale University’s Office of Federal Relations.
She holds a B.A. in Spanish and International Studies from Yale University. A proud member of the Oceanside community, she is on the board of her local church and volunteers with the San Diego Organizing Project and the Oceanside Homeless Resource.
