After raising her own children Tracie decided to pursue her passion to work in the field of mental health. Tracie considers it a privilege to support student’s social, emotional, and academic growth by helping them develop an inherent sense of value, worth, and authenticity. Tracie enjoyed the unique opportunity to share the experience of earning her college degree at the same time as her own two children. Tracie holds a BA in Psychological Science from California State University San Marcos and will complete her MA in Psychology from California Southern University this fall. Prior to joining the team at High Tech High North County Tracie worked at the Community Resource Center in Encinitas, CA serving individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. There she was trained as a Domestic Violence Advocate. In her free time, you can find Tracie enjoying North County beaches, swimming, traveling, and enjoying precious time with her family. Tracie is a native of Potomac, MD and has lived in San Diego for over 40 years.
