"A dream is more than a person"

Luke Piedad is the COO of Hundred Hands Learning Lab (H2L2), a San Diego–based creative design studio that partners with educators, organizers, and changemakers to build accessible, equity-centered systems. Luke brings a unique blend of technical expertise, organizational design, and creative strategy to projects that sit at the intersection of education, technology, and community.

With a background in supporting schools, nonprofits, and creative organizations, Luke has led work ranging from website design and digital infrastructure to brand development and systems building. At H2L2, he is focused on making the backend work of organizations feel seamless and invisible—so that teachers, leaders, and communities can focus on the front-line work of learning and transformation.

Luke’s portfolio includes projects such as developing equity-centered branding for schools, streamlining digital ecosystems for educators, and crafting communication systems that empower both staff and students. His approach is always grounded in clarity, collaboration, and long-term sustainability.

Outside of his role at H2L2, Luke is deeply invested in storytelling, systems that foster justice, and creative practices that strengthen community.
